Juice Generation is a proud member of the Green Restaurant Association, a national non-profit that helps restaurants and consumers work together to become more environmentally responsible.

Our other initiatives include:

  • Using BIODEGRADABLE, plant-based materials for our cups and food containers.
  • Using 100% RECYCLED paper napkins and recycled brown paper take-out bags—no plastic bags allowed!
  • COMPOSTING much of the pulp produced in our stores.
  • Providing REUSABLE mason jars for purchase so you can save 10¢ and a cup.

We love our local farmers and purveyors and put a huge emphasis on locally grown produce. As an independently owned New York City company, we care about supporting independent growers—plus going local cuts down on fuel costs and ensures fresher ingredients. You can be confident that we make every effort to source our spinach, kale, carrots, and beets from nearby farms.

We're also committed to using as much organic produce as possible. Our cold pressed juices and our production facility are all certified USDA Organic.

Everyone has the right to know what they’re putting in their bodies, which is why we have ensured that all of our cold pressed juices are certified by the Non-GMO Project. Currently one of the fastest growing labels in the natural food sector, this non-profit organization offers  verification and labeling for non-GMO (genetically modified organism) food and products.

One of the known risks of genetically modified crops and food items is the fact that they can contaminate non-GMO crops through cross-pollination. The Non-GMO Project works with food manufacturers, distributors, growers, and seed suppliers to develop a standard for detection of GMOs and for the reduction of contamination risk of the non-GMO food supply with GMOs.
